What is Prayer ?

The Breath of christian life:

God never forsakes His child who prays to HIM. There will always be an answer to a prayer. We need to pray in ordained way to be in the presence of the Lord throughout our life.

Some of us pray to get rid of our problems, some to have peace and some for fellowship. Some people say that praising God is prayer. Praise is useful for a good prayer but praise will never be a prayer. In Mathew 7:7, Ask, and it shall be given you. Asking God for a particular thing carefully is prayer.

Blessing God will not be a prayer. That is a part of a prayer. The angels bless the Lord always. Meditating is not prayer. But meditating the word of God and thinking to live in His ways will results in a prayer. Men of God like Issac and Daniel meditated.

In II chronicles 7:14, If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
  1. Humbling is not a prayer but humble prayer is important.
  2. We need pray in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  3. We have to pray without doubt
  4. We need to pray persistently.
  5. We need to pray confessing our sins everytime.
  6. We need to Pray according to the will of God.
These are the ways we need to pray to our Lord and to have a good relationship with our savior Jesus Christ.
